Flower and Garden Festival Fun

Besides eating and drinking your way around the unique booths at Flower and Garden, there is a lot of fun stuff to do at the festival. From music to topiary displays and butterfly exhibits, there is plenty to do at Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival.

Garden Rocks Concert Series:

Head over to the America Gardens Theater, located at the America Pavilion to hear some classic rock hits. Famous rock bands and singers such as Starship, Rick Springfield and the Village People, among others, have stopped by every Friday through Monday during the festival to provide some entertainment. The best part is, this concert series is part of your park ticket price; no need to purchase separate concert tickets. (As a side note, this is not the only festival that features a concert series. If you visit during the Food and Wine Festival you can experience the Eat to the Beat Concert Series) So grab a beer and some pulled pork from the Brewhouse booth and enjoy a unique concert experience.

The Topiaries:

Ever wonder what Disney’s floral department can do with some flowers and a little bit of Disney magic? Well head over to Epcot to see the over 100 Disney character topiaries located throughout the park. There were honestly so many to see but my favorite was the Beauty and the Beast topiary located at the France Pavilion. To see a full list of topiaires, don’t forget to grab your Flower and Garden Festival passport on your way into Epcot.

Events/Exhibits:

If your looking to do something unique and fun at the festival try one of the many exhibits available. These include an English Tea Garden Tour at the England Pavilion and a Butterfly Exhibit, among other cool experiences. Check out the Disney World website to view all of the available experiences.

Photo pass Opportunities:

Photo pass Opportunity at Epcot

Having purchased the Memory Maker Package, I was expecting a ton of photo pass photographers to be out and about. While there were some out at beautiful locations and that took magic shot photos, there weren’t as many as I was expecting. One place where I was expecting/hoping there to be one was in front of the entrance to Epcot, where Spaceship Earth and the Mickey/Minnie topiaries are located. The photo pass photographers were not taking photos with the entrance topiary. They were further back and my pictures did not feature the entrance topiary display. Funny enough, at the Food & Wine Festival there was a photo pass photographer located here taking photos with the signage for the festival and they are such special photos.

Have you been to Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival before? What is your favorite topiary or thing to do at the festival? Would love to hear so please let me know in the comments!
