The World Showcase in Epcot is a place that is NOT lacking in dining options. With a quick service or sit down restaurant available in almost every country, it’s hard to pick just one place to eat. A favorite of mine is Les Chefs de France in the France Pavilion in Epcot.
Prix Fixe Menu
This is not the first time that I’ve been there. My family and I have eaten here about 3 other times before. Unlike some of the other restaurants on the Disney Dining Plan where you do not receive an appetizer, you have the option of getting a Prix Fixe Menu, which includes your non-alcoholic beverage, an appetizer, an entree and dessert. You can certainly choose from the regular dining menu as well, but the Prix Fixe is worth it.
Lobster Bisque Soup
On the Prix Fixe menu, you have three appetizer choices, french onion soup, a salad, or lobster bisque soup. As a person who LOVES lobster bisque soup, that is my go-to in this restaurant. The soup is flavorful and just delicious!
Braised Beef with Linguine
You are offered four choices for dinner on the prix fixe menu. There is braised beef with linguine, roast chicken with mashed potatoes, salmon with rice and mac and cheese. I opted for the braised beef with linguine. The portion was extremely generous and beef was so tender, no knife was required.
Chocolate Cake Dessert Option
Swan Cream Puffs with Vanilla Iced Cream
Dessert options include chocolate cake, apple tart, creme brulee, sorbet, a meringue basket and swan cream puffs with vanilla iced cream. As a chocolate lover I went with the chocolate cake. It was delicious, extremely chocolatey and perfectly offset by the iced cream it comes with. My family got the swan cream puffs with vanilla iced cream. Can we just talk about a cute dessert? And apparently it was delicious as well.
Now before we end this review, we must talk about one delicious thing about this meal. The fresh made French bread that is delivered to your table. It’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just trust me, it’s good!
Interior View of Les Chefs de France
Overall, I think France is a great place to stop and grab some food at the World Showcase. It is definitely worth a table credit on the dining plan. In addition to the delicious food, the service is excellent. Every person I’ve spoke with in that restaurant has always been nothing but nice.
